This is something I made for illustrationfriday.com, and it is the first of a few versions. I painted it in Photoshop CS, and it took me a couple hours to paint. The theme is red this week, so I went for a strong pose that looked sexy. Traditionally, red is a color symbolizing passion, anger, and power. What do people think of it (I did another very different version of this painting that I am still working on)?

Illustration Friday: Red

this is a very interesting image. Your lighting is pretty good too. I would work on your anatomy though - especially the hands - they get a little lost. Since you have that cool blue in the eyes - I would try to subtly repeat that somewhere else in your image to create harmony and to break up some of the reds.
I really like it its made of only 1 color and shades and lighting... its a bold image to conjure up too... I like the detail behind the girls hair that seems to lookl like medusa hair.. it gives it a lot of UMPGH if you know what i mean.. :D
